Geoff George- Head Professional
Geoff has been Associated with the Croydon golf club for the past 30 years. Starting as a 17 year old trainee under former club professional John Davis, Geoff worked his way up to become the head professional in 1990. Geoff's business achievements and loyalty to the golf club have seen him become well respected with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Michael Waghorn-Head Professional
Michael's association with the Croydon Golf Club extends back to when he joined the club as a 9 year old. Since that time he has proven himself as a player, in winning junior club championships and Ivo Whitton events, and as a teaching professional, by winning the 2004 National Titleist excellence in education Scholarship as the second ranked trainee in Australia. Michael joined Geoff as joint head professional with the move to Yering Meadows and brings a youthful exuberance to the pro shop.
Jasmine Hobbs- Assistant Professional
Jasmine is the assistant professional here at Yering Meadows.Jasmine had a stellar junior career and culminated with her extensive studies as a P.G.A Trainee she bring experience that can provide some interesting insights into your game.With Jasmine's extensive playing background she can help you with any advice or questions that you may have. Jasmine is leading the way with junior and ladies golf tuition... and don't be scared guys as Jasmine can also improve your golf game.
Rhys Granger- Trainee Professional
Rhys is currently a 2nd year P.G.A trainee under the guidance of Geoff and Michael. Rhys joined the pro shop staff as a trainee in 2009 and showed promising results through his first year. He is an exciting young golfer who is one day hoping to join the professional ranks as a playing professional. Rhys is able to help you with any queries and questions and is happy to help and provide any assistance where possible.
Matthew Buff - Trainee Professional
Matthew is a 1st year P.G.A trainee professional, originally a club champion and respected member of Beacon Hills Golf Club. Matthew brings a friendly atmosphere whenever he is seen around the club and add to this the ability to play some great golf. Matthew recently won his first trainee event at Settlers Run with a course record off the gold tees of 66.
